Salary between €3.160 and €4.514 per month based on full-time, depending on experience

The role
As a QA Engineer at SciSure, you are part of one of our product teams and take ownership of testing throughout the software lifecycle. You write and automate test cases, join sprint planning and refinement, and keep an eye on quality metrics such as test results and coverage. You work closely with developers and product owners and make sure the user’s perspective is included in our release decisions.
You help keep our CI/CD pipelines healthy, share best practices with the team, and look for practical ways to improve how we build and deliver our software.
What you’ll do
Design and execute test plans (manual and automated) for component, integration, and end-to-end testing
Define and automate acceptance criteria based on product specs
Use tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Vitest to create scalable test suites
· Collaborate with developers and product owners during agile ceremonies
Monitor and report on test coverage, quality indicators, and performance
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Bitbucket
Help guide junior QA engineers and foster quality awareness across teams
What you bring
3+ years of experience in QA or software testing
Hands-on experience with modern automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Vitest)
Knowledge of QA best practices and ability to advocate them in dev teams
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Ownership mindset, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
Eligible to work in the Netherlands or the U.S. (no outsourcing or B2B setups)
Bonus points if you have...
Experience testing large-scale web applications
Familiarity with PHP, Vue.js, or .NET
Experience with unit testing frameworks (phpunit, junit)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, AWS or Terraform
Understanding of web/database performance optimization
